Preparing a two minute live pitch
In this client pitch project, my partner and I were tasked with preparing a two minute live pitch to convince a potential client, Mr. Stephen Staples from Georgian College, to purchase office stationery from our company, Total Office Supplies.
Our pitch incorporated:
- Strategic elements such as:
- Grabbers
- Principle of three
- Kickers
- Effective timing to make a memorable impression
We focused on:
- Clear and audible voice quality
- Professional body language
- Polished appearance to deliver a flawless pitch

In this research and video assignment, I developed a research question, what is the relationship between emotional intelligence and career success?
My research incorporated:
- Strategic elements such as:
- Find 2 academically valid articles
- Summarize the articles and write a script
- Respond to the articles and present my findings
- Created a 10-15 minute screencast video
I focused on:
- Clear and audible voice quality
- Connecting the content to personal/professional growth and development
- Polished appearance to deliver a flawless presentation
